Exciting news, thanks to the enormous support of the Bungay Practice CIO, the ICB and East Suffolk Council, who have provided Community Investment Levy (CIL) funding towards the development, we are pleased to announce that work will commence on site effective from 3rd November 2025.
The works will provide additional clinical consulting space, which the surgery badly needs, to meet increasing demand and ensure the widest possible range of services are available to our patients. It will also further enhance our ability to provide an excellent teaching facility for future clinicians.
We anticipate the works will last approximately 12 months. Inevitably there will be some disruption during this period to both patients and staff as the phases of the work progress, but we are doing everything we can, working with the Contractor, the architects and the CIO, to ensure any disruption to patients and their access to the building is kept to an absolute minimum.
