Dr Castle and Partners along with The SWAN Primary Care Network will be using a text messaging service whilst continuing to telephone those patients without mobile connectivity or internet, to book Covid Vaccinations. This will hopefully help us to speed up our invitation process.
As you can see from the below photos, you will be sent an initial text asking you to click on the link which invites you to book your appointment at Sole Bay. The text states GPSurgery and the message itself will be signed from the practice you are registered with.
To confirm your identity you will need to input your date of birth. Then choose a convenient time to attend. This is the only type of text message you will receive and you will never be asked to make a payment.
We are only booking appointments at Sole Bay Health Centre, and you will receive confirmation of your booking and a reminder the day before.
Should you need to cancel your appointment there is a link in the confirmation to enable you to do so.
We are constantly updating appointments. Therefore, should you find all appointments taken, please check back later or the next day when more will be available.
We have already successfully vaccinated more than 25% of the entire practice population, with the four main cohorts almost complete. A massive 1450 phone calls made. Our thanks go to all our patients and local population for their continued support. Thanks also to all the volunteers, practice and PCN staff for achieving this in such a short time with tireless enthusiasm, effort and cheer.
